Tools that go past a ranking list

Every page scores with the same rules, and every figure says where it came from.

Browse universities
  1. Strength index

Our own labelled estimate of each school's strength from open data (graduation, earnings, research), with its confidence and sources.

  2. Admission estimate

For US schools with official figures, a demo model estimates your chance and shows what moved it.

  3. Your grades and courses

Enter grades in your own system (Canadian provinces, CBSE, IB, A Levels and more), and list courses so the ones that matter for your major count more.

  4. What matters most

Tick reputation, work experience, research, cost, or the two campus-life factors (academic & career community, social life), and the scoring leans that way.

  5. Visa and work rights

Optionally weigh post-study work, proof of funds and work hours from government pages, each cited and dated.

  6. Applications and offers

Track status, deadlines and costs, then rank your offers by what matters to you.

Real data

Every number says where it came from

No invented statistics and no scraped or copied ranking sites. The strength index is our own labelled estimate, never presented as an official ranking.

  • College Scorecard for US schools

Official US Department of Education figures for 1,577 schools: tuition, admission rates, SAT ranges, graduation rates and earnings. Each school links to its Scorecard page.

  • University websites everywhere else

111 universities outside the US, with fees copied by hand from each university's own pages. Every figure links to its page and says which year it's for.

  • Government sites for visas

Post-study work, proof of funds and work-hour limits come only from government immigration websites, with the date each one was checked.

  • A strength estimate, not a ranking

Each university's “Strength (Unicelerate index)” is our own estimate from open data (graduation, earnings and research figures), with a confidence label. Where we know too little, it's estimated from similar schools and shown as a range.

  • Honest gaps

If a figure can't be verified, it says “Not available” instead of guessing, and the match score leaves it out rather than counting it as zero.
